All of us at Ideal South America wish you the best of luck and health during these difficult times. And we’d like to send a very special thank you to those continuing to work in critical jobs and roles in public service.
In the midst of this most challenging environment, we continue working and operating as safely and effectively as possible, along with these unprecedented developments in the travel and tourism industry. As you might imagine, many of us, our colleagues and local partners are quite busy these days. Thanks in advance for your patience with any questions or concerns regarding your respective trips.
Not long ago, we were busy dealing with real-time travelers. Fortunately, we can happily report all our passengers have made it home safely. Such good news, and what a relief! Thanks to those on our team and the local partners that helped make it happen. Our attention then turned to managing the process of re-arranging trips, alongside our various suppliers, including the respective tour operators in Latin America.
For those of you that were or are not able to travel, we are so sorry the trip could not take place and understand you must be very disappointed. We hope that in time these sentiments will pass and eventually you and your travel partners will be able to look forward once again to planning and making this special trip happen down the road.
We recommend contacting your travel insurance carrier as soon as possible, letting them know that you might be filing a claim. Review your respective policies carefully regarding potential coverage, as each traveler’s situation is unique and policies differ in terms of what can be covered or not.
For now, we continue moving forward re-booking trips and answering the many questions and concerns people have. If you have not already, contact your travel consultant regarding your trip or plans for re-scheduling and potential future travel.
Thanks for all the encouragement and support we’ve received to date. And let us know if there’s anything we can do to help in the meanwhile.
To help you get through these sometimes difficult days at home, and in recognition of Peru once again being named THE World’s Best Culinary Destination at the 2019 World Travel Awards, we’ve included a link to a recipe for one of country’s most celebrated dishes – Ceviche.
