Day 1: Lima
Arrive in the evening and head straight to your convenient Lima airport hotel.
Day 2: Lima/ Cusco
Fly over the Andes to the UNESCO Heritage city of Cuzco. After a chance to freshen up, we will take you on a Cusco City Tour to appreciate the mix of Incan and Colonial styles in the city. Includes visits to the huge Inca fortress of Sacsayhuaman. Stay overnight in Cusco or take the short trip to the Sacred Valley for a comfortable night’s sleep at lower altitude.
Day 3: Sacred Valley Tour
Start your exploration of the Sacred Valley of the Incas — the vast valley below Machu Picchu where traditional lifestyle continues to this day. Start by visiting the charming town of Chinchero and see traditionally dressed locals in the handicrafts market at Pisaq.
After lunch alongside the Urubamba River, your tour ends in Ollantaytambo, a pretty village laid out in the traditional Incan format and dominated by an Inca fortress on the hills above the village. Overnight here so you can easily take the train to Machu Picchu the next day.
Day 4: Machu Picchu Tour
Catch the early train to Machu Picchu passing through lovely mountain scenery. Arrive with plenty of time to begin exploring the breathtaking Incan city. Your guide will take you around the site, then you will have time to explore Machu Picchu on your own - walking to the Inca Bridge, the Sun Gate, more photos or just quiet contemplation. Then in the afternoon you will head back down to your evening train and transfer to Cusco and your hotel.
Day 5: Machu Picchu Second Day
A second day´s visit to Machu Picchu will allow you to climb one of the viewpoints and wonder at the surrounding mountains - including Huayna Picchu - or maybe just walk around and take in the nearby site at your own speed. Afternoon train back to Cusco.
Day 6 : Lima / Iguazu Brazil Tour
Travel to Lima and on to Iguazu Falls. There we pick you up at the airport and take you to your hotel.
Day 7: Iguazu Argentina Tour
Today you will see the spectacular waterfalls from the Argentinean side – widely considered the most beautiful. Flowers, tropical plants, butterflies and exotic birds add to the splendor of this close encounter with Iguassu. If you dare, walk out onto a catwalk that extends 1,200 yards over the tropical basin of Devil’s Gorge.
Day 8 : Iguazu/Buenos Aires
You have time to relax or spend some more time in Iguazu National Park, or visit the Brazil side of the Falls, before your flight on to Buenos Aires. There we will pick you up and take you to your hotel in the center of the city.
Day 9: Buenos Aires
You can choose your own type of tour for exploring Buenos Aires: sophisticated Palermo, Recoletta for museums, city highlights or bohemian San Telmo. The afternoon is at your leisure to enjoy exciting Buenos Aires. In the evening, options include a Tango show or lesson, or Argentine BBQ.
Day 10: Buenos Aires / Home
We take you to the airport for your flight home. An unforgettable trip!
